Turmeric + Collagen Latte

1 cup unsweetened almond milk (or any milk of your choice)

1 teaspoon ground turmeric

1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon

2 teaspoons Collagen Renew, unflavored collagen powder

1/2 teaspoon honey or maple syrup (adjust to taste)

A pinch of black pepper (to enhance turmeric absorption)

A tiny pinch of ground ginger (optional)

A tiny pinch of ground cardamom (optional)

A tiny pinch of ground cloves (optional)

A small dash of vanilla extract (optional)




1. In a small saucepan, gently heat the almond milk over low-medium heat. Do not bring it to a boil; just heat it until it's hot but not scalding.

2. While the milk is heating, in a separate bowl, mix together the ground turmeric, ground cinnamon, and the optional spices if you choose to use them (ginger, cardamom, and cloves).

3. Once the almond milk is hot, add the spice mixture and whisk continuously to combine. This will create a spiced milk base.

4. Add honey or maple syrup and a tiny dash of vanilla extract if desired, adjusting to your preferred level of sweetness and flavor.

5. Add a pinch of black pepper to the latte, which can enhance the absorption of curcumin, the active compound in turmeric. Continue to heat the latte for another minute, stirring gently.

6. Remove from heat and pour into mug.
