Optima Nutricosmetics Pty Ltd (ABN 73631894070) (“Optima Nutricosmetics”, “us” or “we”) owns and operates the website, www.optync.com (the Website).  We are dedicated to ensuring that we comply with our obligations under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) (the Act) and the Australian Privacy Principles (the APPs).  This Privacy Policy explains how we manage the personal information that is collected, used, disclosed and stored about you.

Optima Nutricosmetics may use third-parties to provide essential services on our website or for our business processes. We may share your details as necessary for the third party to provide that service. These third-parties may include: 

- third party service providers, dealers, agents and contractors who assist us in managing our business or operating our website, such as business support services, payment processors, webhosting service providers, cloud storage providers, mailing houses and delivery service providers. For example, our website is operated by Shopify. As a result, when you use our website, Shopify may collect your name, email address, shipping and billing address, payment details, phone number, IP address and device data. Shopify requires this information so that it can provide us with its website services;

- sponsors or promoters of any competition that we conduct;

- our professional advisors including lawyers, accountants, tax advisors and auditors;

- anyone to whom our assets or business (or any part of them) may be transferred;

- law enforcement bodies to assist in their functions, courts of law or as otherwise required or authorised by law; 

- regulatory or government bodies for the purposes of resolving customer complaints or investigations.

While these third-parties are ordinarily Australian based, please be aware that Shopify is located in Canada and its affiliated companies are based in the USA (so your personal information will be transferred to those locations).

We will not share your personal information collected from this website with an unrelated third party without your permission, except as otherwise provided in this Privacy Policy. In the ordinary course of business, we may share some personal information with companies that we hire to perform services or functions on our behalf. In all cases in which we share your personal information with a third party for the purpose of providing a service to us, we will not authorize them to keep, disclose or use your information with others except for the purpose of providing the services we asked them to provide.

We will not sell, exchange or publish your personal information, except in conjunction with a corporate sale, merger, dissolution, or acquisition. -not keeping details of your credit or debit card that would enable any third party to transact using that credit or debit card (such as your CCV number); and

Optima Nutricosmetics sends by email newsletters to those who subscribe to the service. Our newsletters contain the latest product information, news and promotional offers. You are entitled to access and correct the personal information we hold about you and to have any inaccuracies in the information corrected.  However, in order to maintain the accuracy of your personal information, we rely on the quality of the personal information you provide to us.

We may amend this Privacy Policy at any time.
